Searching for a ChatGPT top-up service returns a wall of similar pages: the same plan names, the same “instant delivery” line and prices that differ by more than the plans should allow. The useful question is not which page looks cheapest. It is which seller can explain exactly what you are buying, what you must hand over, and what happens when delivery fails.

Disclosure: this site is a top-up store, not an independent review site. So the checklist below is the one you should apply to us too. A fair comparison is more useful than a ranking written by the seller.

The seven checks that actually separate services

CheckGood signWalk away
1. Account ownershipThe plan lands on your own account. You receive somebody else’s login.
2. What they ask forEmail address only.A password, recovery code or remote screen access.
3. Delivery windowA stated range, split by automatic and manual plans.“Instant” with no explanation or support route.
4. StockLive stock shown before checkout. You pay first and then wait for availability.
5. Price transparencyUSD price, plan name and term visible together.A low headline price with unexplained fees at checkout.
6. Refund routeA written policy for failed or undelivered orders. No policy, or “no refunds” for a delivery failure.
7. Order record and supportAn order number and a way to follow up.Payment by DM with no receipt or order lookup.

Own account vs shared account

This is the biggest fork in the market, and it is often hidden behind similar wording.

Top up on your accountShared or rented account
LoginYours, unchanged.Somebody else’s credentials or workspace.
History and memoryStay with you.Not yours to control.
PrivacyOnly you can read your chats.Other users or the seller may have access.
DurabilityThe account remains yours after the paid period.Access can disappear without notice.
TermsA plan applied to your account.Often conflicts with the usage terms.

A shared account can look dramatically cheaper because you are not buying a plan — you are renting access. The family plan guide covers the same risk from a household angle.

The password red line

No legitimate top up needs your ChatGPT password, a login code or a screen-sharing session. The seller needs the account email to apply the plan. If someone says they must log in “to activate it”, they are asking for control of your account, your conversation history and any connected data.

The same rule applies to recovery codes and to links that ask you to approve a login you did not start. If you have already shared credentials, change the password, sign out other sessions and review connected apps before doing anything else.

Delivery and stock: what “instant” should mean

Automatic plans can genuinely complete in a minute or two. Manual plans cannot, because a person has to process them. A trustworthy service separates the two instead of using one delivery promise for everything.

  • Go and Plus: normally automatic and applied within about 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Business and Pro: usually handled by support, with a 5 to 30 minute window.
  • Out of stock: a live stock count should stop you before payment, not after it.

Check the order status page before opening a second order. Duplicate purchases are one of the most common causes of “I paid twice” complaints.

Refunds and failed delivery

A plan that never arrives should be refundable in full. The policy should say what counts as a failed delivery, how long you should wait before reporting it, and whether the refund goes back to the original payment method. A policy that only covers “technical errors” while excluding every realistic failure is not a policy.

This store’s position is same-day resolution for failed automatic deliveries. Read the refund and cancellation guide for the exact steps, including what to send with a support request.

Price transparency beats a low headline

Compare the total you pay for the same plan and term, not the number in the ad. A price that excludes a service fee, a currency conversion or a “processing” charge is not cheaper; it is incomplete. The plan name and duration should sit next to the number, and the checkout total should match the card that was shown.

Our live product cards show the current USD price and stock. Because prices and inventory change, the card and checkout — not this article — are the source of truth.

A 60-second checklist before you pay

  1. Does the seller say the plan goes on your own account?
  2. Is the only thing they need your email?
  3. Is the plan, term and total price visible on one screen?
  4. Is stock shown before checkout?
  5. Is there a delivery range and an order lookup?
  6. Is there a written refund route for failed delivery?
  7. Can you contact support without giving a password?

If any answer is no, the discount is not worth the risk. The safety guide and the direct top-up explainer cover the remaining questions.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare ChatGPT top-up services?

Start with whether the plan lands on your own account, whether a password is requested, the delivery window, stock and price transparency, refund policy and order support.

Is a shared ChatGPT account cheaper?

It can look cheaper, but you do not control the login and access can disappear. It also runs against the usage terms and often fails when two people use it at once.

What is a normal delivery time?

Automatic Go and Plus top ups are commonly applied within 1 to 3 minutes. Business and Pro orders are often handled manually and can take 5 to 30 minutes.

Should I trust a service that asks for my password?

No. A legitimate top up only needs the account email. A password or login code gives the seller full control of your account and data.

Is this site an independent comparison?

This is a store, so use the same checklist on us. We publish live prices, never ask for passwords and state the refund route before you pay.

Ready to top up ChatGPT?

Pay in USD by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and your own account is topped up in minutes.
